Dedicated to the memory of Charles Morley
Late of Budleigh Salterton, Devon since 1986, doctor of geology of Trinity College Dublin, passed peacefully on 31 January 2023, aged 86.
Born 1936 in Leeds to George and Rose Morley, brother of the late Rosalie Wilson of Harare, husband from 1964 of the late Teresa Ann Forken of Galway, and from 1983 of Patricia Winifred Weller of Godalming, widow of the late Roger Weller (whose best man in South Africa was Charles), father of Iain, Alan, and William Morley, stepfather to Mark, Anthony and Jacqui Weller, grandfather to Artemisia, Ben, George, Helen, James, James, Messalina, Mollie, Olivia, Sam and Teresa, having lived several years in a tent mapping the Zambezi, then variously Blackrock Dublin, Bryanston Johannesburg, Godalming England, and Perth Australia, widely travelled and addicted to fishing.
